About the calendar -
During these times of social isolation, it is really important that we continue, in whatever ways we can, with at least some of what we experience in our days out in the woods at EarthWalk Vermont.

EarthWalk elder Jane English, who has been publishing calendars for over 30 years, was inspired to make this calendar to help you stay connected to EarthWalk and to your friends there, and to help you get out and have some good times in the woods.

Featuring some of Jane’s favorite EarthWalk activities, the calendar is a big “thank-you” to EarthWalk from Jane for all she learned during her thirteen years of volunteering at many different EarthWalk programs.

The do-at-home activities - for EarthWalkers of all ages, include: species names, bird-in-hand, tracking, sit spot, meet-a-tree, make a fairy house or boat, make a nature trail and map it, one-match fire, create an EarthWalk song, gratitude circle, make a talking stick, and make pine-needle tea.

About the photographs -
Most of the images were made by Angella Gibbons, founder of EarthWalk, while others were made by photographers and artists who have been mentors, parents and EarthWalkers themselves over the years since 2005.
